How to Brew Our Teas
Most teas are brewed in different ways depending on tea type. Based on specific ingredients, brewing tea and tisanes requires certain steeping time and water temperature in order to retain the ideal flavor, mineral content, and feel. While this might sound complicated, brewing tea is quite simple.

For each blend, we include specific brewing directions, however experiment with tea amount and brewing time based on your desired brew strength. You'll notice different flavor compounds will appear the longer you leave herbs to brew. This is not always desirable for everyone as many herbs like green tea become bitter or ginger more spicy.
Many of our teas can also be brewed a second time or re-steeped to enjoy a lighter second or third beverage. Many of our blends can be solar-infused (slowly brewed in the sun) or cold-brewed for a lovely iced tea. You can also find more specific tips and notes like this in each specific blend's informational section.
