Magic Earl Grey Latte

Ingredients

  • 8 oz water
  • 2 tbsp of the Magician blend
  • 2 teaspoon sweetener of choice (optional)
  • 1/4 cup half and half or any milk alternative

For Lavender simple syrup

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp fresh or dried lavender
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon butterfly pea flower powder (optional)


  1. Heat 8 oz of water to 205° F

  2. Steep 2 tablespoons of the Magician blend for 5-8 minutes

  3. Add 2 teaspoons of sweetener of choice. Lavender simple syrup is divine, but sugar is just fine

  4. Let cool down a little bit

  5. Make cold-frothed lavender cream

  6. Pour tea over ice

  7. Top with lavender cold cream

 

COLD-FROTHED LAVENDER CREAM
  1. Froth 2 oz of half and half or any milk alternative with 1-2 teaspoons of lavender simple syrup.

 

LAVENDER SIMPLE SYRUP
  1. Boil 1/2 cup of water

  2. Add 2 tablespoons of dried lavender

  3. Add 1/2 cup sugar

  4. Optional: for pretty blue coloring, add 1 teaspoon of butterfly pea flower powder

  5. Stir to dissolve sugar and powder

  6. Steep for 10 minutes

  7. Filter out solids (can store in fridge for a week)
