We are big fans of the tea lattes here at Wild Coast Brew especially during these cozy winter months. The Stoic tea blend is no exception and works wonders as a an earthy-woodsy Chai latte. The trick with tea lattes is to make your base tea more concentrated so that the cream or milk doesn't dilute the tea. Also, if you have one of those nifty frothers, bring it out now.
For 1-2 Lattes:
1. Brew a concentrated tea: Simmer 3-4 tablespoons of the Stoic tea blend in 2 cups of water for 8-10 minutes. Strain with fine mesh filter. Add sugar or honey.
2. Heat cream or milk on low until warm. Froth the milk with a frother.
3. Pour concentrated brew into mug and top with hot frothed milk. Shave some nutmeg on top.
