We also love cocktails and cocktails at Wild Coast Brew - any type of wild experimentation goes here. This herbal-spicy cocktail uses gin, lemon, The Sage tea-infused simple syrup, turmeric, and egg white. It's a beautiful deep yellow and so tasty.
3 oz gin
1 1/2 oz fresh orange juice
1 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz Sage tea syrup made with the Sage Tea Blend
1 oz fresh egg white
1 tsp ground turmeric (optional)
Combine all the ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Double strain, and pour into coupe glass or unique jar.
THE SAGE SYRUP: Brew 3-4 tablespoons of the Sage tea blend in 1 cup of water for 10 minutes. Strain tea. Add 1 cup of sugar to hot tea and stir to dissolve. If you would like it thicker, you can simmer for a few minutes in a pot. Cool. Keeps in fridge for a week or more.
